This presentation will provide the Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) with evidence-based information on psychopharmacological management of common mental health diagnosis in primary care. Learning objectives: Identify screening methods for common mental health diagnoses in primary care Examine principles of prescribing psychopharmacological agents to treat common mental health disorders Apply integrated care approaches to improve overall health outcomes This course provides 1.0 contact hours of continuing professional development, including .75 contact hours of pharmacology.
