Full course description
Implementation Mapping provides a structured, step-by-step framework for developing, selecting, and tailoring strategies to enhance the adoption, implementation, and sustainability of evidence-based interventions (EBIs). Combining principles from Implementation Science and Intervention Mapping, this approach helps bridge the gap between research and practice by ensuring implementation strategies are theory-driven, evidence-based, and stakeholder-informed. Students will: - Conduct an Implementation Needs Assessment to identify barriers and facilitators to implementation. - Define adoption and implementation outcomes, performance objectives, determinants, and change objectives to guide strategy development. - Select theoretical methods and design tailored implementation strategies. - Develop implementation protocols and materials for effective strategy execution. - Evaluate implementation outcomes to assess effectiveness and sustainability. - The course format includes lectures, small group work using problem-based learning, and group discussions. This course is available virtually or in person.
